.the Mormons are hell bent to proselytize Catholics around the world Especially in countries like Chile, where MANY lapsed Catholics have become Mormons. (Guess that's not of much interest to posters like Terycarl, eh?)

anyone who claims to be a "Christian" and who refuses to accept Catholicism is a little suspect....while Lutherans, Methodists, Presbeterians, etc etc are more in line with true christianity and the Jehovahs Witnesses, Christian scientists, mormans are further from the mainstream, in effect, what's the difference??? Unless you are FULLY CHRISTIAN, you aren't.

Terry, which Catholicism?

The pre-Apocryphal (canonized) Catholics pre-1546? Or the apocryphal Catholics 1546 & later?
The prayer to Mary, saints & angels followers post-7th century, or the ones who didn't pre-7th century?
The ones who canonized dead saints as of 995? Or the ones who didn't previously?
The rosary Catholics who began that in 1090? Or the pre-rosary Catholics 1090 & prior?
The full expanded 7-sacrament Catholics as of 1439? Or the "under 7" sacrament Catholics pre-1439?
The purgatory Catholics as of 593? Or the non-purgatory ones pre-593 + those of late who've rejected purgatory?
The celibacy of the priesthood Catholics as of 1079? Or the sexually active priesthood pre-1079?
The pope foot-kissers as of 709? Or the non-pope foot-kissers pre-709 + those of late who also reject that?
The transubstantiation & confessing sins to a priest as of 1215 Catholics? Or the ones who didn't believe or practice that prior to 1215?
The "no one can be saved outside the Roman Catholic church" Pope Pius IX ralliers as of 1854? Or the more ecumenical Vatican II type of Catholics?
The Pope Boniface VIII type of "must be subject to the Roman Pontiff" type of Catholics as of 1299 (must be subject, whether Catholic or not, that is), or the pre-13th century Catholics + those of late who would object to that?
The formalized Mary is sinless Catholics -- formalized as of 1547? Or the Catholics who previously didn't formally adhere to that?
The non-birth control Catholics who listen to the Vatican? Or the birth-control Catholics who totally ignore the Vatican in this area?

Tery, which "Catholicism" of the above are you referencing?

No, anyone who is a Christian who refuses to accept Catholicism is a Christian...a no FRILLS Christian...such as became born again as in the first century, were saved and started a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus Christ.

The church that Jesus started had/has NOTHING to do with the Catholic church---except that if a Catholic becomes born again and saved, he or she is in the church that Jesus started...the catholic (universal) church made up of EVERY true Christian.

It's a spiritual thing terycarl.

Unless you are FULLY CHRISTIAN, you aren't.

Except by defining "FULLY CHRISTIAN" as being a member of the Catholic Church, because it is your tradition, instead of focusing what the bible states it means to be a Christian shows a foundation built on shifting sand.
