They don’t speak for me.
I don’t consider them my “leaders”.

I wonder how they would feel about required background checks prior to purchasing religious material...
Might be trying to corrupt the minds of impressionable youth.
It’s for the children, don’t ya know...

So rights granted by God are to be taken away by “reasonable” men, huh?
Then shouldn’t reasonable men ask for property taxes from churches? God didn’t grant prop tax exemptions to churches. Man did. Thus, it would be a much lesser change to request taxes from churches. Come to think of it, shouldn’t Lady Gaga come into their churches and preach? After all, she’s real popular, she could do wonders for the sizes of their congregations.
Some folks should just keep their mouths shut.

Hey Franklin, stick to something you understand, like the Gospel.
Apparently you don’t know how to apply the Gospel to real-life issues.

These Evangelical’s need to stick to their faith but stay the hell away from my Second Amendment Rights.
Who knows? If the Liberals have their way you might need a psychological background test to practice your faith.

Their problem is they trust the government to weed out criminals and those who are truly mentally ill. They don’t see that corrupt politicians, leftist doctor/nurses...can claim someone is mentally unstable because they are conservative. I don’t think they are thinking this out.

I think it’s reasonable to believe that such measures are incremental steps in regulating away our ability to exercise our rights. Perhaps they should do some research and realize that gun ownership is not the cause of our problems with violence.
