And how do you learn the “Word of God”? Who Teaches? Who do you think selected the Books of the Bible? They didn’t drop from the skies. They were chosen by the early Church Fathers (Popes), some of whom were contemporaries of the Gospel writers.
I've taught myself over the years drawing from various teachers and discerning when they are correct and when they aren't. No one is perfect in the Word, only Jesus was. The rest of us are wrong here and there. There have been some pastors much more helpful than others, but I don't agree with any of them 100%.
