It was quite emphatically reported that Pope Francis was offended at his presence, I'm not sure what was meant by the report when it said that officials would arrange for him someplace else to live. Were they going to simply help him relocate, or provide some sort of more modest accommodations. I don't know if you saw any of the photos of the Vatican "hotel" that the cardinals stayed at, but their lodging consisted of a small room with a twin bed and a small desk.

That looks typical, but it doesn’t answer anything, it sounds like the cardinal is doing just fine and that at age 82 or whatever, he may have to settle for a low public profile, unless he moves into his own place and gives up his roll in the Catholic organization.
