Way back, when Law was first made Cardinal, he was assigned as priest to a church in Rome, as all Cardinal-priests are. Because he was busy beign an archbishop, a vicar was assigned to cover the parish in his absence, as is the normal case for archbishop cardinals. When Law was forced to step down, he went back to his other job, being priest to the parish in Rome. He served there until he reached the age of retirement, when he was immediately replaced. But he continued to live on the premises.

When Pope Francis arrived, he visited Cdl. Law’s former church. Cdl. Law snuck in to meet with him, angering Pope Francis, who ordered him never to go to that church again, and is kicking him out of the apartment.

So Law no longer has a Catholic title, and no longer lives within the church properties, and is now just a regular Joe pew sitter that has to find his own non-Catholic place to live and his own car and everything, just paying all of his own bills, rent, food, repairs, on his pension alone?
