Surprising that stopping by the chapel to spend some time with the Blessed Sacrament is a new touch for the new pope rather than a practice of long standing.Cardinal George (Chicago) admitted to my husband years ago that he didn't have the time to pray before the Blessed Sacrament every day. So my guess is that this could apply to many of the cardinals present (and voting). Sad ("surprising") indeed.
