It’s not “sex abuse.” The incidence of attack by actual pedophiles among the Catholic clergy is lower than among the general population. It’s the gay mafia, which people like O’Malley will never admit. Boston was virtually the epicenter of this under Medeiros, who was known to his clergy as “Mother Madeiros,” and it didn’t improve a lot under subsequent bishops, either.
It might be gay priests raping boys but they are still priests and it is still sex abuse and there are still many girls who have been raped by priests.
Oh’ and, “everyone rapes children” is a pathetic excuse.

IMO, O’Malley is one of many soldiers who have twisted themselves around the “scientific” sexual orientation lies of secularism. They carry on even though it is in direct conflict with God and they know that. They know, but deny that they abetted the crimes. They pretend it is just the rapists who have created problems. It’s more than just a personal sin when the Catholic church officials abet homosexuality and the rape of young priests and children as the global policy of the church in the name of Jesus.
Jesus is going to bring that house of cards down, sooner or later. The more they twist the truth and resist, the darker they will go and the harder they will fall. I pray it is over with the next Pope.
