You missed the point of my question. I went through Luther's catechism to learn the faith. But it existed in the Catholic church before Baltimore, before 1941. Why then and there a change? If you don't know,say so.

I really don’t know the history of it. However another person and I were talking recently and she spoke of a couple of mistakes in the original one. I have no idea what they might have been.
