I just got through with the book “Misquoting Jesus” which gives the “heroic” attempts to get the Bible correct.

Due to copies that were copies of copies of copies of copies and the original were long lost (deteriorated probably) and men trying to compile / correct the many versions of the bible. It took men with great moral fortitude and conscious to decipher what was more valid or accurate.

The most complete copies were 4 - 6 centuries after the death of Christ. These copies were often modified to satisfy certain groups. Some copies were translated to different languages which often tends to not always adequately transcribe meanings accurately.

Herod kept precise records according to all authorities and his records indicated that only criminals, captured soldiers and politicians were crucified. There was NO mention of any disciples of any religion or religious prophets.

Although Herod’s documents were thought to be complete there is no proof that is so, but the documents were extensive and did seem to cover all crucifixions that would have included the period in question.

Explain to me why NONE of the disciples wrote one (NOT 1) letter until Paul requested them to do so and that was more than 20 years after the fact - and each letter was as if they were prompted as to cover specific subjects (many parts) almost word for word the same.

Each of the disciples probably used scribes to write their script as there was NO indication whatsoever that any of them ever knew how to write. They apparently did not write to anyone else in their lives as there never was any mention from any of the churches. Only Paul communicated through letters to the early churches and copies were made and sent to smaller groups but (BUT) not one letter was ever known to be sent to any of those churches as NO copies of said letters were never found or duplicated.

Illinois keeps precise records according to all authorities and yet a MURDERER was just turned loose there that is wanted in Indiana.

You are guessing.

Each of the disciples probably wrote their own script as there was NO indication whatsoever that any of them were illiterate.
