And, FYI, procured elective abortion is always the deliberate, willful destruction of innocent human life. That's the act outlawed by all murder statutes. I have a friend who just had an abortion three days ago. She had an ectopic pregnancy and it would have killed her. I mean really. She found out she was pregnant in the E.R. while they were trying to find out why she was bleeding internally.

I have another friend that believes that no abortion should be legal ever (she is an avid anti-abortion protester. Organizes street protests and everything). So friend B's position would have killed friend A.

I was curious as to how others feel about the matter.

The answer should lie between A and B.

The life of a mother and the life of her child are equally sacred: if the mother's life is truly in mortal danger due to her unborn child and there is no way to save both the mother and the child then you have reached a point where abortion is permissible.

Even then the best practice would be to attempt to save both lives.

And in practice the concept of mortal danger to the mother has been watered down by leftists to 'serious harm' - which has proved to be the gateway excuse for 99% of abortions in the UK, rubber-stamped by morally bankrupt doctors.

So in fact the only answer that actually protects the unborn child is A, all the way.

Except the first part of the 10th nullifies this being a 10th issue. The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution....

Amendment V states in part: ...nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law...

I believe going the State by State route is the most effective but not as a way of saying that it is just a State issue. Protection of individual rights (and none greater than one's own right of existence) is a Federal issue.

We shouldn't be releasing convicted murderers, they should be executed. I'm unapologetic in that sense.

Pregnancy should never be a death sentence for the mother. To me that's just common sense. Personally, I think that should be the only reason.

For the rest, adoption is perfectly reasonable. But everyone has their own opinion.
