Of course, after all the heart is truthfull above all things and fantastically righteous, who doesn't have full command of it?
Doctrines of demons
Martin Luther was a Catholic priest, if you remember, so he was NOT attacking from the "outside". ALL of the areas he tried to reform were intended to be from within and several faults actually DID get changed. For those the hierarchy refused to correct, Luther was commanded to recant and bow in submission to the Pope on all areas. He could not and remain honest to the word of God because the Lord had opened his spiritual eyes and he saw through the accursed gospel Rome insisted on clinging to. For that, he was cast out, though this was not his intention.
During the time of the Reformation, there were numerous depraved and wicked popes and bishops who recognized what they would have to personally give up to get right with God and they refused. They chose to persecute and hunt down those who wanted to restore the church to what Christ intended it to be. They left the reformers with no choice BUT to leave and continue to lead others to saving faith in Jesus Christ. What many Catholics today don't know is that their church leaders had perverted the Gospel and the teachings of Jesus and the Apostles and used their offices for personal enrichment and power - something the early church was forbidden to do.
The Reformation in the sixteenth century was NOT the first time the Catholic Church had to face the correction of God. It won't be the last either. I have a strong sense that Martin Luther has already been welcomed into heaven with a hearty, "Well done my good and faithful servant.", and he is enjoying being in the presence of the Lord for eternity.

There you go again!
Where in Scripture does it say THAT???
ACTS 8:26:35
Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, Go south to the roadthe desert roadthat goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza. 27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means queen of the Ethiopians). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship, 28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet. 29 The Spirit told Philip, Go to that chariot and stay near it.
30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. Do you understand what you are reading? Philip asked.
31 How can I, he said, unless someone explains it to me? So he invited Philip to come up and sit with him.
32 This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading:
He was led like a sheep to the slaughter,
and as a lamb before its shearer is silent,
so he did not open his mouth.
33 In his humiliation he was deprived of justice.
Who can speak of his descendants?
For his life was taken from the earth.
34 The eunuch asked Philip, Tell me, please, who is the prophet talking about, himself or someone else? 35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.
Anyone that can read; knows this statement is false.
I know what the BIBLE records:
Genesis 38:8-9 Then Judah said to Onan, Go in to your brothers wife, and perform your duty as a brother-in-law to her, and raise up offspring for your brother. Onan knew that the offspring would not be his; so when he went in to his brothers wife, he wasted his seed on the ground in order not to give offspring to his brother. But what he did was displeasing in the sight of the LORD; so He took his life also.
It appears (to a casual reader, anyway) that the non-performance of his DUTY was the 'sin' - not the WAY it was done.
I'll bet he would have STILL gotten the ZOT! if he'd just said, "No thanks."
Lotsa stuff here!
Genesis 38
Nope...
What's WRONG is the world's (and, apparently the CHURCH's) view that St. Peter is going to be standing before those gates.
We've ALL seen the hundreds of cartoons that present that concept.
.....the door to Heaven is not open to all who wish to enter....
What you say here has NO relation to the gates of the CITY.
Read the BOOK!
9 One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb. 10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God. 11 It shone with the glory of God, and its brilliance was like that of a very precious jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal. 12 It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel. 13 There were three gates on the east, three on the north, three on the south and three on the west. 14 The wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 The angel who talked with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city, its gates and its walls. 16 The city was laid out like a square, as long as it was wide. He measured the city with the rod and found it to be 12,000 stadia in length, and as wide and high as it is long. 17 The angel measured the wall using human measurement, and it was 144 cubits thick. 18 The wall was made of jasper, and the city of pure gold, as pure as glass. 19 The foundations of the city walls were decorated with every kind of precious stone. The first foundation was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, 20 the fifth onyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth turquoise, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. 21 The twelve gates were twelve pearls, each gate made of a single pearl. The great street of the city was of gold, as pure as transparent glass.
22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple. 23 The city does not need the sun or the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and the Lamb is its lamp. 24 The nations will walk by its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their splendor into it. 25 On no day will its gates ever be shut, for there will be no night there. 26 The glory and honor of the nations will be brought into it. 27 Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whose names are written in the Lambs book of life.
Is YOUR name written there?
The ‘popular’ opinion is that Joseph died somewhere before Jesus started His ministry.
Therefore, Mary would have been a widow.
It appears to be that she had no BROTHERS-IN-LAW to give her ‘offspring’ like ONAN was supposed to do.
Or; she DID already have other children.
What say ye?
Well; THIS'll get debated; but ROME surely DOES make the claim that ONLY it knows just what the bible really MEANS!
There ya go!
I am not sure about the Greek, but in any case, as Robertson notes, the binding and loosing is repeated by Jesus to all the disciples (Mat.18:18). Later after the Resurrection Christ will use this same language to all the disciples (Joh_20:23), showing that it was not a special prerogative of Peter.
See also Clark on Mt. 16:19: http://live.e-sword.net/app/
No doubt the apostles, being part of the foundation of the church, exercised binding and loosing power in both doctrine and discipline. Paul, as an inspired writer, which Rome is not, taught believers are loosed from the ceremonial law, (Col. 2:14-17; cf. Gal. 4:10) as does the writer of Hebrews (Heb. 7-10) and which was also confirmed by the church, (Acts 15) as a fulfillment of the New cov. And in 1Cor. 5, Paul, together with all the church, binds a man in discipline, and Peter declares that a man is in the “bond of iniquity.” (Acts 8:23)
This is in contrast to Rome loosing herself from needing Scriptural warrant for all her teachings, and loosing upon men teachings not found in Scripture (from her virtual bottomless well of “tradition”), and binding people from freely reading Scripture and imprisoning, torturing and killing such as differed from her (which early Prots were also wrong in doing much the same, having yet to unlearn that from Rome).
She already had lots of other kids.
Scripture even lists Jesus’ brother’s names.
That will be denied by them (and of course, Scripture can only authoritatively mean what Rome says it means, and she can presume to bind what God has loosed and vice versa), however, the broadness and variety of criteria under which a marriage may be declared by Rome as never having qualified as a marriage (and which potentially means multitudes of married Catholics may also may not be truly married) could nullify some of the marriages in Scripture.
See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canonical_impediment#List_of_diriment_impediments_to_marriage. http://www.vatican.va/archive/ENG1104/_P3Z.HTM see also post http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/religion/2979388/posts?page=44#44]
Also, it may be seen as rather contradictory in principal that Rome considers entering marriage with the intention of never having children to be a "grave wrong and more than likely grounds for an annulment."[McLachlan, P. "Sacrament of Holy Matrimony." http://www.catholicdoors.com/faq/qu164.htm] , while praying to a women who apparently went thru with a marriage intending to do just that, according to Rome.
