My area is actually the DC area.

They are calling for significant snowfall here on Friday actually. It would be great if it doesn’t affect the turnout but I fear it might.

We are located on the Ohio River, in a little town bordering the OH/WV border. Tomorrow morning, at 5 am, at least 40 people from our area (mostly Catholic, but a few other Christians as well) will be boarding a bus at our parish and heading to D.C. For the first time, I will be one of those people (my 14 y.o. daughter is also coming, as her dad and I thought it would be a great experience for her and some good mom/daughter bonding time). I turn 40 on February 10th, so the significance of this year does not escape me at all.

We are prepped for the weather, with our heavy coats, thermal underwear (LOL), gloves, you name it. The weather may slow us down, but it won’t keep us away!

Pray for all those travelling for this event. Please also keep in prayer my husband, who will be taking care of our 10, 8, and 5 year olds here at home, LOL. God bless him for taking off work to give my daughter and me this opportunity.
