Dear Heavenly Father
We Love Your Because You First Loved Us!
You Are The Holy One,
The Redeemer of Israel.
And though the world gathers against Your People,
You Are Forever Faithful.
We, who are called of You to Believe and Obey Your Word,
Lift up Our Voices and declare,
You Are Holy,
You Are Worthy,
And You Are The One True God!

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

In This Mighty Passage from The Prophet Isaiah, God affirms, not ONLY His Holiness, Not ONLY His Redemption, Not ONLY His Faithfulness, but His Special Relationship with the People of Israel. He even alludes to the enmity of the Nations to God's Chosen, which continues to this day. The Prophet Zechariah calls Jerusalem "A Cup of Reeling for ALL Peoples". In the Gospels, Jesus speaks of a day when Jerusalem would be surrounded by enemies.
Isn't it strange that, in our modern day, when the greatest cities on Earth financially and politically (New York, Washington DC, Moscow, Beijing, London, Zurich, etc) are not in the new NEARLY so much as the small, landlocked, mountain town in the hills of the Judean Desert.

God changes not. Israel is the apple of His eye. Though there is constant threat and attack upon Israeli people, there are daily miracles too. God is their protector. How has this tiny nation stood surrounded by enemies? God is with them. Israel is besieged ongoing.

Father God, bless Israel. Yet, the Jewish people yearn to be in their homeland. Those in America are content. Most here in truth have no yearning for Israel. The return of the Jewish people scattered around the world proceeds unabated. They come from Russia, Ethiopia, America, European countries, etc., there are complexities. Identity Papers, money, health, transportation, younger members of the family, ... there are many impediments. Fear of leaving what they know. Still God moves their heart to come home. Let us pray for their faith and trust to carry them home safely. Bless, prosper, strengthen their resolve. Many are quite elderly now. LORD of all, bring your people home in safety and with happy heart, to complete their life in thy grace, in Jesus name, amen.
