Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

The name "Branch" is almost universally accepted as Messianic, both by Jews and Christians alike. This term is a metaphor, literally meaning "shoot" or "sprout", and signifies the new life that Messiah was to bring to the Davidic monarchy, which was presumed dead. Further, the implications of the name were that Messiah would bring new life to all mankind, not just to His people Israel. This description as "Branch" appears several times in the Hebrew scriptures. It appears in Isaiah 4:2, where the Messiah's presence in the coming Kingdom is described as "beautiful" and "glorious". In Isaiah 11:1, the Branch is said to come from the "stem of Jesse", and is filled with the Spirit of God. In Jeremiah 33:15, the Branch again is said to come from the royal line of David. Yet, this same Branch from the royal line is termed God's servant in Zechariah 3:8, and is described as a man who will carry out God's work in Zechariah 6:12.

Praise God! Yesterday, I meditated on the Firewall message you posted and woke up this a.m. around 4 with new revelation. Then I come here and see the message of Jeremiah 33:3 you posted to confirm what was revealed to me. It’s not anything personal but a deeper understanding of HisWord and what IT is meant to accomplish and how we are missing it. In general - I’ll say the limits we unconsciously put on what God wants to do in the natural - through us - with what He has already done in the spiritual and it is all in His Word. My words right now could not do justice to what I am feeling right now.

So thank you for your participation in this in what you post and, I guess, when you post it.

God’s Word never changes. It’s when we, personally, allow IT to change us - to grow us for HIS GLORY - for His will to be accomplished.

I pray HIS WILL be done through us for that IS HIS WILL. Praise God!

What a way our Lord has to teach us things that we can not comprehend with our own minds!

I love the idea of branch, thank you for posting this.

Also, combined with the idea of “labor pains” or those trials we have to walk through to get the new life.

But we are promised that we will not remember the pain, but the joy of bringing new life.

Blessed be the name of the Lord, because he is so artistic and merciful on us, that he allows US into His creation and tells us the secrets to hold on to our faith in painful times.

I join in prayer for Israel, Jerusalem and all God’s beloved.

Wonder and amazement is present in reading God's Word. we find there are levels within levels and deeper meaning than we first suppose. It is achieved through the Holy Spirit’s presence with in us. We seek and search and pray for understanding, and in my life it is gradually being revealed at deeper levels and connections. There are depths we do not see, connections it takes thousands of hour of reading the Scriptures, and prayers to God's gradually revealing bit by bit His profound Word: as we mature to a greater level.

In this lifetime it is unlikely we will get many layers of understanding of His Word. People today are influenced by the secular views, the understanding of the Rabbi's. It is revealed as God sees the heart of the believer and the true dedication of his life.

Forgive us LORD, we live in this evil world surrounded on every side by deception and lies, and attacks. Have mercy Father. We beg, bow, and pray for thy grace. We pray for the peace and blessing of Israel, Jerusalem, the persecuted believer, the lost, and for America to turn in faith to be restored in Thy Kingdom. We praise, worship, adore, and seek Thee, praising Thee for the blessings showered upon us ongoing, Our heart is grateful and we repent of our sins and pray to be prepared for thy coming, in Jesus name amen.
