I would like to post some sort of prayer that is elegant and thoughtful, but at this time I can not.
Dear Lord, be with the inoocents and their family.
Please pray for them.
Thank you.
I believe the innocents are already safe from any further harm,in the Lord’s hands. I join you in praying for the families, and the survivors at the school. I can think of nothing worse than to lose a child. May they know that God - and our country - weep with them.
Omein.
G-d be with all of Newtown this day and many days after. The pain will last a long time. Grant them the strength and courage to stand in the face of this evil.
Repeated your prayer here.
The Light of God
The light of God surrounds us,
The love of God enfolds us,
The power of God protects us,
The presence of God watches over us,
Wherever we are, God is,
And where God is, all is well.
St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke, St. John,
Like unto the prophet Jonas, as a type of Christ,
Who was guarded for three days and
Three nights in the belly of a whale,
Thus shall the Almighty God,
As a Father, guard and protect me from all evil.
Amen!
the bastard killed the entire kindergarten class. This is way worse than Columbine.
May he rot in Hell.
Amen. My heart breaks thinking of the families of those killed. Dear Lord please comfort and hold them in your arms of love.
"But now he is dead....I shall go to him, but he shall not return to me." 2 Samuel 12:23
This will follow all of the other kids in that class through High School and through the rest of their lives.
Mega prayers for the families and the other children at the school.
God rest their sweet souls and console their families. I wouldn’t even want to imagine how they feel.
And Dear God, please have mercy on the policemen and the ambulance crews and the paramedics and the firemen and the hospital staff and any who saw this horror. Please help them. Amen.
Maybe this is the wrong place to post. Please forgive me and remove. There’s just so much
Eternal rest be given to these inocent souls O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May these inocent souls by the grace of God rest in peace. Amen.
When I see the death of a child I do not see the face of God, but the face of His enemy. Ours is a faith that has set us free from optimism, and taught us hope instead. We can rejoice that we are saved not through the immanent mechanisms of history and nature, but by grace; that God will not unite all of historys many strands in one great synthesis, but will judge much of history false and damnable; that He will not simply reveal the sublime logic of fallen nature, but will strike off the fetters in which creation languishes; and that, rather than showing us how the tears of a small girl suffering in the dark were necessary for the building of the Kingdom, He will instead raise her up and wipe away all tears from her eyesand there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor any more pain, for the former things will have passed away, and He that sits upon the throne will say, Behold, I make all things new.

they are in heaven...people whose lives were cut short by no cause of their own get a free pass to heaven!
Amen. May the victims rest in peace.
