And it's a great testimony of how when faced with the choice of accepting God's offer of salvation or rejecting it, this man chose to be chosen - he chose to accept Jesus' gift of eternal life and become part of the elect.

And, like God says in John 3:16, salvation is for whosoever will believe.

Interesting how he says that there were many times he should have been killed yet he always felt someone was watching over him....
