I have to admit, I have never watched Two and a Half Men, and never will. I hate sitcoms. Ive tried to watch other ones and found them to be rather unfunny; as a Christian myself I find the content worldly, over-sexualized and very distasteful, as are most programs on TV. But as an actor on the program, was Jones wrong for speaking out against it?

He did the right thing. But now he will never get anothe job in the entertainment/media complex.
He wasn’t wrong but not quitting makes him a hypocrite
“but not quitting makes him a hypocrite”
Yeah,,, but he’s under contract for a bit longer, and the hollywood lawyers would have skinned him alive.
If he doesn’t like the show, he should just leave. The show is crude, but it’s been crude the whole time. He has apologized already. He didn’t seem to mind becoming rich from the show. Personally I think the show has run it’s course.
Never seen the show, never will. Much better things to do.
Oh BS! I wouldn't criticize him if he was sincere but his mega salary per episode is nothing he's going to give up.
I don't know much about this black guy he was hanging with in the video but I suspect he's nothing but another Jim Jones to the rich hollywood elites.
As a side note, the punk has already issued an apology so take that for what it's worth.........
I’ve never watched the show.
Must be truly lousy for the actor in it to slam it....LOL.
Can you say the same thing about the followers of Jim Jones?
He could always star in Fireproof 2
It amazes me what the American audience finds entertaining. Like “Here comes Honey Boo-Boo.” I just don’t get it.
WHat does this have to do with Jim Jones?
His criticisms of the program were correct. His actions, though- not quitting the “filthy” thing- bring the word hypocrite to mind.
Agree that he should quit. Coming out publicly and trashing the program was stupid though, even though I am a Christian and I’m quite sure he’s right in his opinion that people shouldn’t watch it.
It will probably get higher ratings now after this.
For at least some time it probably will. The show has become stale, and they’re just doing the same crude jokes.
I’m not too mad at him.
He’s 19 years old....and in a business his parents put him into when he was 5.
People that age swing from idealistic to realistic and back again in a matter of weeks.
He’s a confused kid, whose parents treated him like a meal ticket by getting him into this business...and now he’s caught on tape disparaging one of CBS’ best money makers...he probably got more than an earful in the last few days. And, he’s currently under contract.
I feel bad for him. He’s in a bad spot. Sure his greed plays into his decision to stay...but, thanks to his parents, this is the life he knows. And, it is always scary to contemplate leaving the life you know.
I used to watch the show when Charlie Sheen was on and found it crude but funny. Now I find it crude and boring.
Reminiscent of Gregory Peck and the film, “MacArthur” which was backed by the Moonies. At the time the Moonies were quite controversial and when questioned about his taking the leading role, Peck replied in effect....I needed the work, YOU don’t HAVE to go see it.
well he has back tracked mightily from the ‘brave’ commentary when he thought no one in the public would here him
No, unless it’s a PR move
