You know, you've brought this charge up before, I answered "no" then; and it's still "no" now.
But since you keep insinuating there's $ to be "had," perhaps I should start giving it some prayerful thought at your urging.
And then, if it takes off, and I can FREEPmail you and thank you for your encouragement along these lines!
Sandy, start taking responsibility for your own keyboard; (I mean, you don't have a "ghost" keyboard, do you?)
And no, no "tormenting" comes from your way; I'm glad you feel open enough to exchange thoughts.
Please don’t make this personal.
Mormonism has been discussed for YEARs on the FR RF, as it should be.
“Did you know that Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Great Jehovah of the Old Testament...”
I know Mormons say a lot of things that sound orthodox, but they mean something comkpletely different, so let’s test this one. From the table in the artcle above, #1. Was Jesus self-existent from all eternity past? The “Great Jehovah of the Old Testament” is/was.
I will clarify what I meant about the vest bombs, since it was a bit provacative: Spiritual error is more dangerous than physical violence because the consequnces are eternal. In other words, “Do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” (Matthew 10:28) In reality, I would rather have the Mormon reenagers at the door than the vest bomber, but honestly, if God allows either, that’s fine with me.
.
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
I meant to respond to this as well:
“Did you know that the Rev. Billy Graham opened his home to Mormons? Did you know that his ministry removed Mormons from its list of cults?”
I didn’t know that. I would be mildly curious to know exactly how that was worded, but throughout the years Billy Graham’s ministry has compromised to broaden its influence. You say his ministry “Mormons from its list of cults.” That means Mormons were on the list - did Mormon doctrine change in a meaningful way or did his ministry change?
Billy Graham is a great man and I’m certainly his inferior many times over, but I prefer a ministry like John MacArthur’s (www.gty.org), which explains what the Bible says and lets the chips fall where they may.
You say his ministry removed Mormons from its list of cults. That means Mormons were on the list - did Mormon doctrine change in a meaningful way or did his ministry change?
LOL, You know a cult is moving uptown when it is temporarily moved from the "Cult" list, and they brag about it the entire time, until the period is over and it is placed back on the page.
You say his ministry Mormons from its list of cults. That means Mormons were on the list - did Mormon doctrine change in a meaningful way or did his ministry change?

And Sandy spins again...Graham’s website removed the ENTIRE ‘cult’ list (and Mormons were on it) after Graham endorsed Romney. Many complained about that and hope that the page will be restored.
Also, Sandy, Graham is not our prophet. I, too, have opened my home to Mormons, that doesn’t change the fact they are a cult. I was disappointed in BGEA’s removal of the list, but I was also disappointed that he put politics in front of the truth.
So, Sandy, your comment doesn’t change the fact that Mormonism is a cult. Graham doesn’t speak for many of us on this issue.
I am a Mormon and Jesus is the One and Only Savior and Redeemer of my soul and every soul ever created.

That isn’t what LDS leaders teach. Are you ‘following the prophet’?
According to the LDS, every planet has its own savior, Jesus just happened to be the one for this planet.

It’s not a ‘bizarre’ statement at all, it is a BIBLICAL statement. You have, in the past, claimed that the LDS love and read the Bible. If so, then you wouldn’t find this statement bizzare at all. Unless you think Jesus was ‘bizzare’...
Matthew 10:28 - And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
False teachers send people to a very real, very eternal Hell.
Please stop breaking my Saviors Heart by being disrespectful of Mormons. My love for the Savior Jesus Christ seems to really upset you.

Mormons following a false Christ and insults His work ON THE CROSS and His High Priest office, and twists His words and THAT breaks the Savior’s heart.
And your love is for a false Christ. That is what upsets us.
Are you making money off of selling anti Mormon/anti MormonISM material? Thousands of people do, you know. One can find anti Mormon material everywhere!
- - - - - -
Take note, Holly, this is a common (and unfounded) tactic Mormons use. They assume people do this to ‘get rich’.
The truth is, no one gets rich by fighting Mormonism. Colo has stated several times, as have I, that we don’t get any money nor are we looking for it. Many ministries to Mormons take a LOSS financially and the owners don’t take a salary or any money and often hold more than one job to support their own ministry.
Conversely, Mormon leaders have a built in audience for their books, and get paid quite well as they keep the royalties from their books whereas those who write books against Mormonism almost, if not always, put the money (if any) from the sale of books back into their ministries. Shawn McCraney of Alethea ministries is a great example of this as is Sandra Tanner.
Sandy the reason you can find ‘anti’ material everywhere is because people who know Mormonism, know it is in no way Christian.
But cheer up, maybe you can get me banned/zotted again

We don’t want you banned, Sandy. We never have. You need to see the truth and we are glad you are back.

Jesus Christ is the Lord. Period. And it is by the power of the Holy Ghost that anyone could make that statement. Do you even know the Bible?
= =- — - - -
Not in Mormonism. And actually demons ALSO believe in Christ. Apparently I know the Bible better than you do because if you look at 1 Cor 12:3 (what you alluded to but didn’t reference) you would know that Paul is speaking about Pagans and gifts of the Spirit. Context is our friend.
In Mormonism, the ‘church’ is Lord in reality. For Christians, Jesus is either Lord OF all, or he is not Lord AT ALL. Mormons follow a false Jesus. If Jesus were really Lord for Mormons, they would NEVER EVER EVER sing “praise to the man”, talk about Smith the way they do, put the LDS church over everything (even God), and wouldn’t go around claiming that they are ‘the one true church’.
Please stop distorting Truth to suit your ill conceived ideas about Mormons. Mormons are not your enemy; we love Jesus Christ. I dont know who your enemy is; but it sure as heck is not the Mormons.
You will know them by their fruit.
- - - - - -
I’m not distorting anything and my ideas about Mormonism COME FROM THEIR OWN WRITINGS. Mormons are spiritually lost, they aren’t my enemy, but MormonISM is the enemy of Christ and the doctrine of devils and IT (the doctrine) is my enemy.
And ‘by their fruits ye shall know them’ is NOT talking about behavior, it is talking about FALSE PROPHETS and the ‘fruit’ of Joseph Smith PROVES he was a false prophet.
Do you read the Bible? Because if you read in context, you would know that and stop making this same mistake.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Creator. Where did you get such a crazy idea in the first place.

From LDS LEADERS!!! In Mormonism, God cannot create, just organize. And the LDS temple endowment teaches that Jesus and Michael (Adam) created the worlds at the request of God the Father (Elohim).
Do I need to post LDS quotes to prove you wrong? I will.
She used to be a Mormon, thusly her anger.
