Good bishop! He’s probably going to get a threatening letter from he Dem lawyers front group, “Catholics United,” telling him he’d be liable for prosecution if he discussed issues that portrayed one candidate in a negative light. All of the pastors in my diocese received one, complete with a pledge they were supposed to sign and send to an address in DC.

Our bishop told them that it was nonsense, they had nothing to worry about, and they shouldn’t sign the pledge.

The left is so sneaky, creepy and menacing. But it shows you that the Dems are worried about the Church.

The US bishops are clearly allowed to speak out on issues; they are simply prohibited from endorsing a candidate (unless they are “black pastors”). These bishops need to get the message out long before early voting starts...
