Ok, so if no new holidays are supposed to have been established since Moses received the commandments on Sinai, then how do you explain these:
- Monday Apr 8 Yom HaShoah/Holocaust Memorial Day
- Monday Apr 15 Yom HaZikaron (Memorial Day)
- Tuesday Apr 16 Yom HaAtzmaut (Independence Day)
- Wednesday May 8 Yom Yerushalayim (Jerusalem Day)
I don't care about Halloween one way or the other but I think you go a little too far in your arguments.
Ok, so if no new holidays are supposed to have been established since Moses received the commandments on Sinai, then how do you explain these: Actually, those are all secular "holidays." On the other hand, if you're not misinterpreting what ZC said, then it seems that Chanukah, Purim, and Tisha B'av, which are religious holidays, but the events the holidays are based on happened long after The Lord handed down The Torah, shouldn't be celebrated.
Just a thought...
