I don't know if the church will be there or not. I think a good argument can be made both ways. In fact I've heard good arguments made both ways. I can provide scripture supporting both positions.
I think Jesus prophecy in Matthew 24 was written to those that will be there at the end. I think that's all you can make of it.
I have heard good arguments that the church will be raptured early. Saying "Oh yeah... the apostles of the church weren't apostles yet, in fact they weren't even the church yet... so the church wasn't the ones who this prophecy of end times was about. It has to be jewish people, because they were just jewish people at the time the prophecy was given." (as if God didn't know they would in less than a year be the church)....... well.. that's not a good argument. That's a silly one.
Its the argument you make when there is no direct scripture that definitively says the church will be raptured away.

I do appreciate your confirmation that there is no indication in Matthew 24 that Jesus was speaking to people who did not yet exist, and your confirmation that there is no Scripture in the Bible that supports the mythology that the Church will go through the Tribulation.
Its the argument you make when there is no direct scripture that definitively says the church will be raptured away.
But that's just not true.
50 Evidences for the Pre-Trib Rapture
Why God's Purpose for the Tribulation Excludes the Church
Proofs for Pretribulation Rapture Theology
That will get you started - proof that the Church will not go through the Tribulation, complete with supporting Scriptures.
Thanks again for proving that post-Trib Rapture theory is a man-made mythology, with no support from the Holy Spirit.

Oh dear, I almost forget the inarguable Scriptural passage that
proves that the Church will be raptured before the Tribulation: 2 Thessalonians 2:3:
The Rapture in 2 Thessalonians 2:3

You posted 3 website links. Seems it would have been easier to just list the scripture that you say “proves” your position. You’re a funny guy. Wow.... it just hit me. I don’t know you. Maybe it’s a female I’m arguing with. That would answer a lot of things :)

First sentence says “I believe that there is a strong possibility that 2 Thessalonians 2:3 is speaking of the rapture.” .... LOL... oh yeah.. that’s definitive.

The church didn’t exist until the Day of Pentecost.

Well, when you've lost the argument, you can always resort to references to someone's gender. And actually that doesn't bother me - your denial of the Word of God bothers me because of the eternal effect it will have on you. It really doesn't have anything to do with me at all. Denial of Scripture is denial of Jesus Christ and that has eternal consequences. When you cling to a false, demonic doctrine, even after being shown the truth, that reflects on you and the consequences are all yours as well.
But, all that aside, and despite the fact that I gave you links that totally annihilate your beliefs, do you have any Scripture that contradicts what is in the links? Any at all?

Did you read the entire article? And do you have Scriptures to contradict the Scriptures in the article?

How sexist....
And posting a smirking little smiley at the end of an insult does not win friends and influence people.
Jesus, while here on earth, was preaching the good news of the Kingdom to the JEWS. The gospel was not preached to the Gentiles until the Jews had rejected it.
Tell me, what is the purpose of the Tribulation? Do you understand that?
And if you do do you understand why the Church would not be part of it?

If the Church is to be on the earth during the Tribulation, what exactly would be the point of the two witnesses who preach and work miracles for 3 1/2 years and the sealing of the 144,000 Jewish witnesses? The church would still be around to testify of God and warn of the anti-Christ if the post trib rapture were correct. God never leaves Himself without a witness on the earth. They would only be needed if the Church were not around. Amen! This is why God both gave us the Bible AND the indwelling Holy Spirit, who would be our teacher and who would illuminate God's word in our hearts so that we can KNOW His plans for us and the world. Paul told the Thessalonians to "comfort one another with these words" (I Thess. 4:18) and we also can have that same comfort in knowing that God has a plan and God's will WILL be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Wow.... it just hit me. I dont know you. Maybe its a female Im arguing with. That would answer a lot of things :) What it answers for me is that you not only have no proof for your assertions against someone far more knowledgable than you about the Bible but you have to resort to sexism to try to wiggle your way out of it. Not a "manly" thing to do, kjam22.
