Our Wonderful Father,
'God is our Hope and Strength, and Help in Troubles, Ready to be Found. Therefore we will not Fear, though the Earth be Moved, and though the Mountains Fall into the Midst of the Sea.' (Ps.46:1,2) We Trust in You, Lord, in these Uncertain, Storm-Tossed Days. With Grateful Hearts, we Say with the Psalmist, 'The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge. Selah.' (Ps.46:7)
Your Majesty, we Cry Out for the Healing and Salvation of our Land. Please Shower us with Mercy, Lord, and Forgive us our Many Sins. May Evil Rulers in our Midst be Voted Out and Replaced with the Good. Please Raise Up a Vast Army of Godly Saints to Lead this Wayward Land. May we be Returned to the Godly Paths our Founders have Walked. Be Pleased, Your Excellency, to be Magnified in Many Hearts and Lives. May Jesus be Most Precious to the People of the USA.
Our Loving Father, Please Grant Great Blessings to our Troops. May Each Man Rest Safely in Jehovah's Mighty Hand. What a Wonderful God is ours! Your Love is the Strength and Joy of our Lives. May our Troops be be Filled with the Rejoicing and Power of Jesus Christ. May they Walk in the Footsteps and the Invincibility of the King of kings. For Thy Glory, Amazing God, be Honored in the Lives of our Men. Defeat and Lay Waste to their Enemies, O God! 'Thine Arrows are Sharp in the Heart of the King's Enemies; wherefore the People Fall Under Thee.' (Ps.45:5)
Thank You, our Beloved, for Hearing the Prayers of Thy Lambs. 'All Glory to Him Who Alone is God, Who Saves us through Jesus Christ our Lord. Yes, Splendor and Majesty, All Power and Authority are His from the Beginning; His they are and His they Evermore shall be.' (Jd.1:25) In Jesus' Name, for the Beautiful and Gracious King, amen.

PRAYERS GOING UP FOR OUR AMERICAN HEROES AND FOR OUR BELOVED NATION!
GEN. GEORGE WASHINGTON THE PRAYER AT VALLEY FORGE "Let Tyrants Shake Their Iron Rod" William Billings Mixed District Choir, Fairfax, Virginia (Click)
In the coldest and darkest days of the American Revolution, General George Washington raised his prayers for the survival of his beleaguered Army and of the new Nation. The Lord answered those prayers, upheld his Army through a punishing nadir to everlasting glory and bestowed His manifold benefits upon the new Nation.
In like manner, let our prayers now rise lie a fountain for our Heroes in the American Armed Forces who seek to secure the benefits of Freedom on behalf of a people hungry for them. Father, look on our prayers for them with favor, guide their steps in righteousness and keep them in the shelter of Your Healing Wings. Bless and uphold them in the performance of their Mission. Through Jesus Christ, Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

Heavenly Father, Lord of the Nations, unto Your Divine Mercy we commend the souls of these brave men and women who have fallen in the service of our Beloved Nation and in defense of the Freedoms we hold dear. We pray that You gather them in Your loving embrace, that You cause Your countenance to shine upon them, and that You vouchsafe their souls to dwell eternally in Your Divine Presence. Through Jesus Christ Your Son, with the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever, Amen.

From Duty To Delight
September 16, 2012
Because of my wifes busy schedule, sometimes she can commit only a limited amount of time every week to each of our grandchildren. When possible, however, she will rearrange her schedule to spend more time with themnot out of duty, but because she loves them. When I see her with them, I understand what the word delight means.
In Psalm 119, David tells of his delight in Gods Word. He uses the word delight eight times (vv.16,24, 35,47,70,77,92,174). He says: I will delight myself in Your statutes; I will not forget Your Word. . . . I will delight myself in Your commandments, which I love (vv.16,47). The psalmists words, I will delight, indicate that it is a deliberate act of his will. However, it is not a burden for him to delight in Gods Word because he loves it. Davids close relationship with God created in him a desire to know what his Beloved had to say.
In the same way, for us to move from duty to delight in Gods Word, we need to strengthen our relationship with Him. When we remember how much He loves and cherishes us, we will respond with love and we will delight to spend time with Him. Oh, how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day (v.97).
Then let me love my Bible more
And take a fresh delight
By day to read these wonders oer
And meditate by night. Watts
Whether morning, noon, or night, make Gods Word your delight.
Read: Psalm 119:41-48
