How do we know Obama doesn’t?
He’s claimed to be Christian, though his actions appear to be more supportive of Muslims. Had he said anything specific on what he believes that rules out a belief in the Trinity?

Other U.S. presidents have rejected the Trinity.

Just saying.

To my knowledge, the Holy Trinity is a Catholic thing.

I am a single-issue voter.

The issue this year is: Which candidate is not Obama?

I went looking for the answer to my own question. And while I didn't find it. I did an informative article about the church that Obama attended. Apparently full Muslims are accepted as members without renouncing Islam or being baptised.

Obama’s Unique Form of ‘Christianity:’No Baptism Or Renunciation of Islam Required

We’re voting for President, not Pope. Romney’s religion is not 100% catholic (that’s small-c catholic), but according to the many Roman Catholics, neither are any Protestant denominations.

The bottom line is that Romney does not hate America, the majority of Americans, or the US Constitution. Obama does.

Also, Romney is the religion he claims to be and that religion worships Jesus Christ as Savior (and not Jesus’ Mom). Obama claims many things, but his actions show that he believes in nothing except his own “greatness”.

Many Christians will become Mormon missionaries.

Unfortunately, for Romney to win the votes of Christians what will first happen, is that conservative writers, radio hosts, columnists, social conservative leaders, all of our talking heads, thinkers, and millions of rank and file conservatives and Christians will be drawn into the largest collection of, the most diverse collection of, the most creative collection of Mormon apologists, in history.

Mormonism will be daily rationalized, ways to smooth over Christian concerns will be thought of and delivered on the air waves, just as Hugh Hewitt and Michael Medved already do. Limbaugh and others will fall into a daily routine of countering and defeating Christian protests against Mormonism. New creative thoughts and reasoning will come from National Review, and Fox

The right will be sucked into becoming the foot soldiers of mainstreaming and rationalizing Mormonism.

Now is not a good time.
Maybe there's a religion thread somewhere that you can irritate?

I just learned that Mormons do not believe in the Trinity. I was told they believe in “three persons with one purpose”. So I said, “then you believe in three gods”. He answered, “well, I don’t like to use the word gods.”

But his answer was crystal clear. Jesus and the Holy Spirit are completely whole and separate entities from God the Father.

I never knew Mormons believed that.

“neither BHO or Romney believe” [in Trinity]

Not exactly true. They don’t believe in the traditional doctrine of the Trinity.

Romney believes he can become a god. Obama believes he already is a god.

I find it ironic this is being pointed out by a Catholic who doesn’t seem to have a problem with the deification of Mary.

Primitive Christian groups like the Church of God reject the Trinity as well.

I reject the Trinity.

Well, OK. You are aware we are not voting for a Protestant Pastor or Catholic Priest? I understand, it is easy to get confused.

I understand your post, but right now our main goal is to get Obama out of the White House. At the moment, what we have is Romney and that is who we work for and vote for.

That is what is best for the country right now.

Would it make you feel more comfortable that Mormons believe God is on Planet Kolob - true, they think they located Him several years ago.

So, I am going to repeat the most important thing is getting Obama out of the White House.

Romney is an adherent of the Mormon religion, a heretical sect that rejects the doctrine of the Trinity and therefore is not Christian.

That said, he might be a good President--certainly better than Obama--and I intend to vote for him.

Hogwash! Jesus did not teach about a trinity ...he said...”forgive us as we forgive”...so we will not be forgiven if we do not exercise patience. That is the key of Christianity and something that the church is woefully inadequate in teaching well... sadly.

Take confort, Mitt Romney has at least Rep. Paul Ryan for VP running mate, a devout Roman Catholic.

So what’s the Main Event today? Catholics v. Mormons? Next, someone will be telling us not to hang out with Samaritans. Oh, wait . . .
