Dislike him as a candidate because he is not conservative enough but why keep attacking him because of his religion?

I’ve seen more hatred on this forum in the name of religion than I ever expected to see in a lifetime.

Attacking?. Stating the facts.

Hatred? Your post sounds liberal.

Before RINOmney was on the national stage, many Christians were here exposing the cult of Mormonism. That has never stopped. I am amazed your post presumes you have the superpower to KNOW the motivation and inner heart condition of others. As I said, it seems quite liberal - or a claim to be god. Which?

You start out with an untruth you finish the same. Romney's not even a Republican - HE IS A LIBERAL. And he is a bishop in a cult!

YOU CAN'T change what he is - so don't try!

You see what you want to see - and do what you want to do. You have NO parameters! Just like you want to change Romney to sweeten him up to suit your agenda!

Religion has NOTHING to do with GOD - He is about relationships! A godless person has NO relationship with HIM or wants one w/HIM. The godless serve a different master.

"No one can serve two masters. Either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and Money." Matt 6:24

I agree with you, why can,t people, especially ones who call themselves Christians say what their views are with out making accusations that they have no proof of but are (i suspect) just copy and pasting what some one else wrote.

Bashing the hell out of some one who will do anything to destroy what God has given us through his Son is one thing.

but it seems that two people who count Jesus Christ as lord and savior should be able to disagree with out all of the bashing.

I am not a Mormon but i know people who are Mormons and some of them are just as much Christian as people in any other religion.

I guess we all get carried away at times but at this rate we will never find our way back to where we are trying to get every one else to be.

Personally, i think if i wanted to join a religion i would join the Catholic church because of all of the mystic and mystery, but i would not want to say all of them our fathers and hail Marys.

The Mormon Church does not interest me because i would not want to hear about the book of Mormon nor to wear those under garments.

If i found a Church that was in my opinion just as Jesus wanted it, if every one acted just like Jesus said, i would be afraid that my presence would defile it.

For someone who has been posting since 1998, you must not get around the religion forum much. This is a walk in the park compared to the comments that appear on anti-Islam threads (particularly when Obama is brought in) or the Protestant-Catholic threads. Brace yourself - the Democrats will take this "hatred" multitudes higher this fall. Mormonism is a target-rich environment and will cause thinking voters to think twice about voting for someone who holds to this loony stuff with the enthusiasm of Mitt. Whether you like it or not, someone's religious beliefs (particularly when someone holds them sincerely) gives you insight into that person's discernment abilities.

I’ve seen more acceptance as heresy NOT being a disqualifier for National Leadership by 'christians' than I had EVER expected!

Hatred: not accepting everything MORMONism has to offer.
