If Romney himself thinks he's a Christian;
If the Lds church will spend dozens of $millions of PR/Marketing if Romney is elected to re-brand itself even more as "We're Christians";
If 40% of the American voters don't even know that Romney is Mormon;
And if Most Christians Have No Idea What Mormons Believe...
...Then, by all means, let's help the spiritually vulnerable vs. the "we don't care who we vote for 'cause, hey, we're heretics-in-their-personal lives crowd that pops up in various venues."
If you have a strong belief, you should be able to convince others without acting like James Carville. Can you imagine how the Bible would read if was about your postings on FR? They are not very Christ-like, are they? Do you really think you can convince others by posting negatives? That’s a terrible sales tactic!
That’s why I have repeatedly said that these anti-Mormon postings are not about religion—they are about one’s ego.
Over the years I have come to believe that the evangelicals have done to the Bible what the liberals have done to the Constitution. They change the writings with newer versions and modify the commandments to suit their personal idiom. Then they attack anybody that disagrees with or questions their beliefs — squawking that others are not real Christians, they’re out of the mainstream!
Democrats do the same thing.
Why don’t you try selling your version of religion without acting like Carville and Pelosi. If you study true Christianity and read into Christ-like behavior, I’m sure you can find a better way.
You are 100% correct. I knew NOTHING about Mormonism until Romney stepped on the GOP campaign stage and LIED his butt off. I thought, this OBVIOUS LIAR, must be an embarrassment to the Mormonism. Then I learned mitt was a bishop and the learning continue. He is a despicable evil human being. I don't think he would be this bad w/o Mormonism. Evil enters one who has an open door - and being godless he is very useable to evil!
IF???
I fear there are only two choices:
1. A deceived MORMON, or
2. A deceiving one.
