Did you ever see "I Love Lucy" or "Leave it to Beaver" or "The Andy Griffith Show"? The ability to project the image of a person to a large audience has been around for a very long time. This just a different implementation of that idea.

I had a conversation on Facebook the other day with a guy who referred to Jesus as a "zombie" and was angry about the idea of different translations of the Bible, since that obviously means the book (that's just a book, of course) is corrupted and meaningless. It will take FAR more than you suggest to turn people like that around.

The facts are there for people who want to see.
That is true, but I don't see how helpful it is to take the latest implementation of iOS, Windows 8, or Linux and start calling the sign of the End Times. We know it's coming, there's no sense in getting all worked up about it.
Right. And which of the other signs that Jesus gave for His return were happening at the same time? And how did the primitive technology that existed then affect normal people in their everyday lives?

You're right. When this "image" that is spoken of in Revelation 13:15 that the False Prophet forces everyone to worship is made into a reality, that is when the major judgments of the second half of the Tribulation begin, and that will drive millions to salvation. That is, I should clarify, those who have not taken the mark will have the opportunity for salvation. The forced worship of the "image" that speaks will not convince everyone that God told the truth in the Bible.

I don't care about the other threads. This thread is about the fact that we now have the technology to create an "image" that speaks, and that image is being put into practical use, and people will be conditioned to accept an "image" that speaks so that when Revelation 13:15 comes to pass, millions of people will have no problem in worshiping that "image" of Revelation 13:15 and God will be proven right, yet again.

No one is telling you that you have to get "all worked up about it" although those of us who know Christ as Savior and know the signs He gave us for His return and see those signs happening and the stage being set are pretty "worked up" about our Savior returning and carrying out what He said He will do.
And, there are other people who will read about the fact that the stage -setting for the Tribulation is happening right now, and will get "all worked up" about it, and will come to Christ for salvation.
That's what this thread is about. It's about obeying Christ in getting the word out and rescuing the souls of people who choose to believe that God tells the truth.
