Oh really?

"Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin."

The plain sense of the text is Paul is saved but still sins in the flesh. Present tense, not past tense is what we are reading here.

9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God

He is correct and I no longer sin, it is not hard.
