I have said nothing about your beliefs here, grey, in fact I never addressed you at all until you addressed me.
I certainly do not play the “bigot” card on every thread either. Such generalizations and characterizations are demonstrably false.
As to lying about Christian beliefs...there you go again.
Missionaries go out all over the world in the name of Christ from many denominations in an effort to bring the Gospel of Christ to others. They all will terach and help anyone they can who will listen to their message and whi is in need of Chrst’s saving grace and atonement.
LDS missionaries do the same...simply because you do not agree with them, or me, does not make them or me liars. It’s this very tendanciy to jump to such negative claims that drive such attitudes.
For LDS the road to salvation is through Jesus Christ and Him crucified and Him alone. We believe what He said when He said, “if ye love me, keep my commandments.” We simply differ on what we think those commandments are. but His atonement and our acceptance of it is the key...without that, it does not matter what you or I do.
As to “simply refraiming from reading threads that do not suite your beliefs,” well, all I can say is that for you to say that to me, and in the next breath claim that I am “interpreting your beliefs” somehow is pretty ironic to me.
Again, I never said anything about you or your beliefs with my original post. Just made the point that anyone who would castigate Rubio because as a child for a short time was LDS, IMHO simply is bigoted towards LDS.
When you challenged that statement, I simply asked if you agreed that someone should be catigated for what went on in their life as a child. Asking you a question, which you are free to answer either way is not interpreting your beliefs, it is simply asking where you stand and seeking for you to make your beliefs in the matter plain.
Have a great Sunday, grey. I sincerely pray your worsjip is gratifying and draws you closer to Christ, Jesus. We will be worshipping Him and growing closer to Him as well here in Idaho.
Just made the point that anyone who would castigate Rubio because as a child for a short time was LDS, IMHO simply is bigoted towards LDS.I simply explained that the lies spread around the world by the anti-Christian mormon missionaries are not only bigotry, but hypocrisy.
"Teaching" a lie is approval of the lie and the claim that God "restored" His Gospel when it was never removed from the earth is a lie. Teaching that the only way to salvation is through mormonism is a lie. Calling those who point out the lies of mormonism "bigots" is a lie.
Simple.
Those who throw down the "bigot" card had better be sure their own glass house is clean.
The bigoted words of mormon leader Henry Eyring Ensign Magazine: "The Lord spoke to those through whom He restored the Church in the latter days. He said of them that they might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased" are lies.
Again, I suggest that when a mormon throws down the "bigot" card, they should remember the bigotry of their own leaders and missionaries.
