While it’s not the same thing, this reminds me of our answered prayer and my sister’s four day brain tumor. She came home from jogging (she’s in her mid-50’s) and collapsed in a coma. She was rushed to the hospital and diagnosed with a brain tumor. They did emergency surgery which was, thank God, successful, then kept her sedated for 3 more days. When she finally awoke, she had no idea what had happened and recovered fully, so I still kid her about her four day brain tumor. So thankful Brady had a similar outcome.
Lord, please watch over Brady and restore all of his brain functions without complications. You have wondrously and fearfully created us, and the healing abilities You have designed—we ask that You oversee the ability for Brady to be healed without any loss of his personality, memory or motor skils. We ask for his Dad, also, that You would guide the surgeons as they repair his kneecaps and other injuries.
Please also let Onyx know that she is not alone, and that You are completely in charge of the situation, and You will orchestrate events so that Your perfect will is manifested.
Your ways are not our ways. As Your will plays out in their lives, we ask that others would be drawn to You as they witness Your unique ability to heal. Praise be Your Name in all the earth!

My beautiful Onyx, I will be praying for your grandson all night long and week. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers as well that you are able to keep your strength during this time. I mentioned this to Julie and she is hoping for a full recovery and the kids will say an additional prayer tonight during bedtime prayers. Love ya and hope all is well.

I am so sorry to have left your son out of the prayers. He will be part of this as well. I read the entire post, but was so concerned about your grandson that I briefly forgot about your son’s injuries. I apologize for that....old age...
