27 Wherefore, my brethren, hear me, and hearken to the word of the Lord: For there shall not any man among you have save it be one wife; and concubines he shall have none;
28 For I, the Lord God, delight in the chastity of women. And whoredoms are an abomination before me; thus saith the Lord of Hosts.
29 Wherefore, this people shall keep my commandments, saith the Lord of Hosts, or cursed be the land for their sakes.
30 For if I will, saith the Lord of Hosts, raise up seed unto me, I will command my people; otherwise they shall hearken unto these things.
31 For behold, I, the Lord, have seen the sorrow, and heard the mourning of the daughters of my people in the land of Jerusalem, yea, and in all the lands of my people, because of the wickedness and abominations of their husbands.
32 And I will not suffer, saith the Lord of Hosts, that the cries of the fair daughters of this people, which I have led out of the land of Jerusalem, shall come up unto me against the men of my people, saith the Lord of Hosts.

A deacon must be the husband of but one wife and must manage his children and his household well.Titus 1:6
An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, a man whose children believe and are not open to the charge of being wild and disobedient.

Titus 1: 6
If any be blameless, the husband of one wife, having faithful children not accused of riot or unruly.

But of course if you believe as the Mormons do, that men are appointed to be elders then maybe you do not have as much as you think to be opposed to the Mormon church.
And in answer to one of your other many comments.
In fact the Jews or the people that were called Jews who believed Jesus was the Messiah was Jesus,s helpers in the founding of the Christian Church.
The Church was not set up to rule the world, it was set up to preach the message that Jesus brought us.
I only have two points in getting involved in these comments #1 is not that i believe in the Mormon Church because i don,t and i have been around Mormons all of my life, I think it is a fraud, the other reason is that i believe it is political put on by another religion that is just as much fraud.
Matt 7:3
And why behold the mote that is in thy brother’s eye, but consider not the beam that is in thine own eye?

Or how will thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye?

Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother’s eye.
And of course i am not accusing any one personally of having a beam in their eye, if i were then i would have to put myself at the top of the list, how ever people need to learn the difference between religion and the real reason why Jesus was sent to this world.
Read the words of Jesus, that is what the Gospel is and the only reason for the Churches.
