The Institution of Two Sacraments Ping!
It’s also the liturgical anniversary of the beatification of Pope John Paul II. My band is doing a song about him for offertory today.

We had a beautiful prayer service at the John Paul II Center. At one point, we were each given a white and red carnation. We processed up and placed our carnation, with our prayers and petitions for mercy, at the altar. After all the prayers had been said, and Eucharistic Adoration, we processed up to honor the first class relic of St. Faustina and received a carnation back to take home with us.
It was beautiful and consoling.
