I’m leaving for church in a few minutes. I am being confirmed into the faith tonight. I am a walking, talking example of the forgiveness of Christ. I have new understanding of Amazing Grace. A wretch like me has been saved.
I was confirmed and entered into full communion with the Church in 2000. I've never regretted it. Congratulations, and God bless!!!
Welcome home!
Ein herizlich Willkommen!
My son and I were confirmed this evening so I know how you feel. God Bless
The principal celebrant at the Easter Vigil in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception last night, was the Papal Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò. He began his homily by extending a special greeting to two groups: the 43,000 catechumens brought into the Catholic Church and the 72,000, like you, who came into full communion with the church. If I can find his homily, I will post it. In the meantime, perhaps you would enjoy reading about some of the others who shared your journey.
