You REALLY want to let the MORMONs slide; don’t you!! Choosing instead to rely upon your traditions. It is a matter of precedence. If Joseph Smith can get away with creating a religion, then so can other people. Smith built his upon anti Presbyterianism (and to a lesser extent Baptist and Methodist beliefs). Others build theirs upon anti Catholicism.
Same methodology, same purposes.

I refuse to waste my time on mormonism, or any other form of freemasonry.
Its so far from Christ that the elect can’t possibly be deceived by it.
