It’s worth mentioning that Jews were crucified wearing loin cloths.
They rioted for the right not to be crucified naked: and the Romans capitulated. I can’t remember which Roman historian recorded this but it’s out there somewhere.
Thanks, I tried to look it up online, but there seems to be many people who argue both points of view. In any case, I think some one would have noticed at some point ( as Jesus was contantly in the public eye ). Even in his childhood or at his birth no one noticed anything physically different. It seems to me she came up with this just to stir up controversy and to get people to read her writings. Sad.
