**we note that today's proposal continues to involve needless government intrusion in the internal governance of religious institutions, and to threaten government coercion of religious people and groups to violate their most deeply held convictions. In a nation dedicated to religious liberty as its first and founding principle, we should not be limited to negotiating within these parameters. The only complete solution to this religious liberty problem is for HHS to rescind the mandate of these objectionable services."**

Bingo! That's the answer!

This is the Democrats’ first step in making universal free abortion on demand a reality.

Bingo! That's the answer!

Not to quibble, but a better response should be, "This is a First Amendment issue, and as part of the Bill of Rights, is a recognition that this is solely an issue between God and the individual. This is so far above anybody's pay grade, including 0bama's, that the only proper response is 'bug off', and don't make such a fool of yourself again."

It looks like many Christians will soon be given the opportunity to suffer for Christ. Even our Non-Denom Church talked about obeying the rilers God has allowed to be over us, but to disobey edicts that were inconsistent with God's Word and being a Christian.

I think it will be illustrative and heartening to see how it goes, but also disheartening when we see the low numbers of folks who are willing to suffer for being obedient to God. I pray I am wrong.

Then, the prelates explained, they opposed the burden placed on the consciences of "insurers forced to write policies including this coverage; employers and schools forced to sponsor and subsidize the coverage; and individual employees and students forced to pay premiums for the coverage."

Then, the prelates explained? The collectives can speak up or shut up. Now that they're coming after you it's finally time to speak up. Thanks for speaking up. FORCE, FORCE, FORCE. Forcing "we the people", individuals to do anything is not in the best interests of a "free" republic. What about Hillarycare, Romneycare, Obamacare, TOTALITARIANCARE did you not understand? How did we get to this point?

"Everything about socialism is sham and affectation." 23.11 Ch23 Evil; Economic Harmonies; Frederic Bastiat 1801-1850

Life Is a Gift from God

We hold from God the gift which includes all others. This gift is life — physical, intellectual, and moral life.

But life cannot maintain itself alone. The Creator of life has entrusted us with the responsibility of preserving, developing, and perfecting it. In order that we may accomplish this, He has provided us with a collection of marvelous faculties. And He has put us in the midst of a variety of natural resources. By the application of our faculties to these natural resources we convert them into products, and use them. This process is necessary in order that life may run its appointed course.

Life, faculties, production — in other words, individuality, liberty, property — this is man. And in spite of the cunning of artful political leaders, these three gifts from God precede all human legislation, and are superior to it. Life, liberty, and property do not exist because men have made laws. On the contrary, it was the fact that life, liberty, and property existed beforehand that caused men to make laws in the first place. Frederic Bastiat - The Law
