I don't think Aum is a heresy of Mormonism; it would be odd for a guy like Park, who utterly denounces his mormon faith, to still be active in it.

Om or Aum (also Auṃ (help·info), written in Tamil as ஓம் Devanāgari as ॐ and as ओ३म् or ओम्, in Sanskrit known as praṇava प्रणव (lit. "to sound out loudly"), Omkara, or Auṃkāra (also as Aumkāra) ओंकार (lit. "Auṃ form/syllable"), is a sacred or mystical syllable in most Dharmic or Indian religions, specifically Hinduism, Jainism and Mahayana Buddhism.

It appears to be more of an eastern mysticism. But I guess it could be something more, I just can't find it in a cursory google search.
