KOLOB not “Kobol”...I keep doing that...”Kobol” is the planet the gods of the Battlestar Galactica series came from, as in “the Lords of Kobol”...did you know that the guy who came up with “Battlestar Galactica”, Glen A. Larson, was a mormon, and included mormon references throughout? A post for another day...
Should we be surprised that a religion based on demonic lies would lie?
John 8:44 - You are of your father the devil, and your will is to do your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks out of his own character, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
It is ironic that we are accused by the apologists for Mormonism of misrepresenting and lying about Mormonism. Yet, when challenged to name a specific instance, they never do. There is no need to lie when the truth is on your side. "Lying for the Lord" is not something that my Lord Jesus Christ would tolerate. How come the Mormon lords (deliberately lower case) do?
Thanks, that gives me a very good idea of the psychology involved.
bttt
Thanks, but no need for an apology. My point was to bring up that there is a dark side to this organization, and our country risks being run by one of them.
Side?
It's ALL 'dark'; with a few sprinkles of light!
My husband says I ruined Battlestar Galactica for him when I told him about the Mormonism in it. One of his FR taglines is “Battlestar Galactica: Another testament of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints”
Including racism?
When it came to polygamy and the govt moving to disinfranchise the mormon church - suddenly the prophet had a revelation rather than go to jail.
Are Mormons encouraged to have large families?
