>> None of which offenses excuses the Catholic church from not following the Scriptural mandate on how to deal with immorality that's in the Bible that the Catholic church claims it wrote. <<

Well, it certainly does not excuse the Catholic priests who did horrible things, nor the derelict Catholic bishops who allowed it to persist, nor the millions of Catholic parishioners, infected with Protestantism, who thought it was so cool that there pastors don't get caught up in silly matters like using noble substances for transubstantiation, or maintaining the sacred air within the sanctuary.

But since the Catholic church, unlike Protestant churches, does not rely on the personal interpretation of the bible of its ministers, the Catholic doctrine, though poorly proclaimed as of late, remains unblemished by the despicable acts of its ministers.

But why is your concern only with the Catholic church? I responded to a single, though terrible, abuse case from a faraway land with numerous cases happening right here in America, by Protestant ministers. Yet your only concern remains not with the complete inaction by various Protestant denominations, such as the SBC and various Presbyterian denominations, but solely with the actions of faraway Catholic priests. How very strange.

What complete in action?

Demonstrate that.

I suppose that moving molesting priests around is not complete inaction, some action DID take place, just not the appropriate kind.

The only *single* anything in this case the thread is about is that it's ONE man.

There's a huge difference in the reaction of Protestants vs Catholics when one of their clergy is accused, charged, arrested, whatever, concerning a sexual abuse case.

It's that Protestants see that the person is arrested, usually strip him of his credentials, applaud the action of justice being done, and express the position that the guy has no business being a minister or near children again.

In contrast to the Catholic position of moving him around, covering it up, allowing him to continue to administer sacraments and recognize them as valid REGARDLESS of the sin in his life, and counter with *Once a priest, always a priest*- his personal holiness does not affect his ability to be a priest.

Disgusting beyond words.

If I found out that some priest served me communion during a time of actively molesting little boys, I'd just want to puke. What defilement. And to hold up a eucharist to sanctify it and make it holy with hands which have done what they did?

It is beyond comprehension that Catholics tolerate it.

The media loves to report the homo-child abuse by priests but usually downplays it among everybody else.

Phoenix Mosque Leader Accused of Molestation

PHOENIX - A high ranking Muslim leader is behind bars, arrested by Phoenix Police on suspicion of molesting a 10-year-old boy.

This guy is an imam, the highest ranking leader at a central Phoenix mosque.

Police say after his arrest he admitted to molesting a young boy. Still, members of the mosque are defending him.

“Everybody loves and respects him, I’m sure this must be some mistake,” says mosque member Jamil Aziz.

As news of the imam’s arrest spread through the Muslim Community Mosque, members refused to believe it.

“It’s unbelievable to even think that because he’s caring to all the children here. Many children come in here,” says Aziz. “I’m sure it must be some mistake because his character here is spotless.”

54-year-old Muhammad Aziz Shah is accused of molesting a 10-year-old boy. Police say it happened two different times earlier this week inside a central Phoenix home.

According to court paperwork, the 10-year-old told his mom about the touching and she called police. The boy said he pretended to be asleep when Shah went into his room.

Detectives say Shah admitted to the victim’s mom that he’d inappropriately touched the boy while the boy was sleeping. Then the imam confessed to detectives too.

Shah has been the imam at the Muslim Community Mosque for about 10 years. They currently have about 500 members.

Right now, Shah is being held without bond. Police say he told the victim’s mom he was planning on leaving the country.

Police say they don’t have evidence of any other victims.
