A German Catholic priest has admitted 280 counts of sexual abuse involving three boys over almost a decade, the BBC reported. About 2,800 pornographic images -- including several of his victims -- were found on the priest's computer.

Named only as Andreas L, the priest, 46, told a court in Braunschweig he did not think he was doing harm.

Wow, metmom...

One episode of “To catch a predator,” one sting operating, two clips, and three Protestant ministers busted. That’s incredible.

I am not familiar with German law. I hope he serves a long prison term.

The no profanity rule forbids me from saying what I think of this man.

Classic pedophile behavior. Especially this

“It was never my impression that the children did not consent,”

Jaw dropping isn’t it? But that is what pedophiles believe. That children consent to sex. Any sane person with even an ounce of moral fiber knows this is false.

Want to know what is really scary? There is a movement among the elites and in some schools of academia to normalize pedophilia by calling it consensual intergenerational sex.

I’m glad the authorities charged him with multiple counts. I hope that assures a longer prison sentence.

The worse thing is that since he most likely is a classic pedophile the number of victims may be much higher than just 3 boys. The offenses also may go back many years as no pedophile decides at the age of 46 start abusing children. I would not be surprised if he has been abusing kids back 20 years or more.

I do wish the article had more details.

Pedophiles priests or not tend to have the same patterns of behavior which usually includes befriending the victims. Offering them gifts, getting them use to sexual images, miminizing sexual behavior and convincing them deviant sexual behavior is normal. They groom their victims and they even use natural biology against them claiming that a natural response to sexual stimuli means the child is enjoying the abuse and therefore consenting.

They play head games with the victims and are very, very clever. I doubt any threat of hell was used. At most the boys were probably shamed into believing that they were full participants and therefore just as “guilty” of doing something wrong.

Pedophiles (like this priest) honestly think they “love” children and that they are helping the children. They are sick perverted whoreson scum and the violence they do to children is very real. Both physically and mentally (as well as spiritually)

It was without a doubt sexual assault upon a child and the man should be punished to the fullest extent of the law.

Correction, I meant to write minimizing the damage or guilt or sense of wrongness about sexual behavior. A sort of pervert equivalent to “come on, just one drink won’t hurt you”.

Pedophiles are predators akin the trap door spiders.

Very soon (if not already) this will become the norm.

It’s seen as part of the priestly prerogative. “Altar Christi” take what they want while foolish, blinded parents hand over their children to pedophiles.

Alter Christi/Alter Christus
Better?

It's typical for the RCC to concentrate on a misspelling (alter/altar) rather than focus on the Satanic actions of its pedophiles in drag.

And that's why RC children are at risk. Their priests rape them and their parents do not protect them.

Ask about the early religious affiliation of some gay men you know. Odds are they were raised Roman Catholic. It's an eye-opening exercise.

Now I'll probably get responses which cover up and deny this fact, but they're not my children and lies don't change facts.

Thank you, Jesus.

Oh and priests are not the only clergy who wear clerical robes. It should be mentioned that Judges wear robes and I hesitate to think what your opinion of the bewigged and gowned justices of the English court might be.

No accusation about it, metmom is notorious, along with many other freepers, in privately, and incorrectly, interpreting Scripture. Here's another one you both have most likely never read:

"And account the longsuffering of our Lord, salvation; as also our most dear brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, hath written to you: As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction." 2 Peter 3:15-16

The RCC lies to its members by telling them the Bible is too difficult to be read on their own and so they need a bunch of old men in dresses to interpret all the big words for them.

How Satanic. The Bible can be understood by children, as Scripture tells us.

"But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." -- 2 Timothy 3:14-15

Eternal salvation is simple and requires none of the extraneous five "sacraments" of the RCC, nor confessions to "alter Christus," nor all the good works in the world. None of that will get you to heaven, Narses.

Only one thing will get you to heaven. And the RCC actively works against dispensing this precious understanding of God's merciful, free grace...

"Believe in Jesus Christ as Lord, God and Savior and be saved."

So profoundly simple. And Rome still gets it so wrong.

If you don't understand this, maybe you should spend more time reading the Bible instead of cereal boxes.

**..Here’s another one you both have most likely never read:
“And account the longsuffering of our Lord, salvation; as also our most dear brother Paul, according to the wisdom given him, hath written to you: As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.” 2 Peter 3:15-16**

I’ve most likely never read it? Must have been my ghostwriter that alluded to it in my post to you:

Excerpt from post 73: ....Peter is teaching about the God inspired accuracy of the true prophets. He then moves on to false prophets and teachers in the next chapter, continuing that teaching, even to people wrestling with the scriptures ‘unto their own destruction’ in closing chapter 3. ....

I shall go back and look at some of metmom’s various comments to see if she has been taking verses out of context as well, and give my opinion to her if need be, since I don’t want to be a respecter of persons.

As far as ‘interpreting Scripture’ is concerned, there is a great deal of it that doesn’t need interpreting. It just needs to be believed and obeyed (as per the Lord and his apostles instructions). There’s a lot of ‘believers’ it seems, but not very many ‘obeyers’.

Actually this was the point of my reply

“The really awful thing is that even if you think you are somehow helping by bringing attention to the very real horror of the abuse, the truth is by lying about it you only serve to aid those who wish to deny it all together; by making claims so monstrous people can feel that anti Catholic prjudice so inflates the crisis to place doubt on the veracity of even the most sober of accusations.”

I pointed out your spelling mistake only to point out that you can’t even bother learning to spell the doctrine so how the heck can you be trusted to know anything about it?

Again what is your obsession with robes as a sign of their professional station?

Clergy wear robes, not just Catholic priests.
Judges wear robes.
Professors wear robes during certain ceremonies where they display their office.
Graduating students wear robes.
A robe is not a dress.

Oh and please point out any Catholic doctrine that says we are not allowed to read the Bible on our own.
