Repentance is a work that only comes after the gift of faith that is given by God.
None of your Scriptures "prove" that repentance comes before faith. Repentance is a requirement for salvation, but unless a person is given the faith that Jesus can save, then he has no reason to repent.

Repentance starts the process that we continue to eternity. Born again is regeneration which is also a process - not a one time event. There is always room for improvement and self examination is our willingness to ask for the Lord's help in breaking bad habits.
We don't consider the Epistles canon - they are from the old Catholic church.
