I would just add that the partial blindness applies only to the physical, ethnic descendents of Abraham, not Gentile converts to Judaism. God calls all of the Jewish descendents of Abraham His chosen people and the apple of His eye. Gentiles, apart from those who have trusted the death of Jesus as payment for their sin, are never referred to by God as His people.
An important distinction, I believe.
"Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands: That at that time ye were without Christ, BEING ALIENS FROM THE COMMONWEALTH OF ISRAEL, AND STRANGERS FROM THE COVENANTS OF PROMISE, HAVING NO HOPE, AND WITHOUT GOD IN THE WORLD: But NOW in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh BY THE BLOOD OF CHRIST." Eph. 2:11-13. It goes on to say that the middle wall of partition that separated us has been removed in order that Christ might make of Himself ONE NEW MAN. When that NEW MAN, the Church the BOdy of Christ is complete, we will be raptured, and the middle wall of partition will be back. When Israel's blindness is removed, the tribulation period is on them, and they go into the Millenial Kingdom at the 2nd coming of Christ. Whereby they will be a Kingdom of priests and a blessing to all nations, just as God said.
