Satan and His Plan of Evil

I pray that you all will be able to read a most excellent book titled: Satan and His Plan of Evil by Keith Blades and also the DVD titled: The Battle on the Cross by Keith Blades.

The book especially informed us and warns us on the evil devices of Satan as more and more unfortunate people in 2012 will be lead in the wrong direction by the Devils under Satan's control for governments, groups, cults, grace rejecting churches, and for believers who need to learn about Satan's devices.

We all need to heed the knowledge of Satan's devices in order to warn people, correct and reproof and show them the way for righteousness.

The Battle on the Cross DVD succinctly outlines that Cross of Christ and His battle against the devil, tracing the devil's evil impact and attacks on God's people all the way back to the Red Sea crossing by Israel.

Wow—this is a timely post for me. I was reading the book ‘23 minutes in Hell’ by Bill Wiese today. He had a near death experience and taken to hell and back via Jesus.
The descriptions of hell are awful and lost people don’t realize what a terrible destiny it is. Also I have been viewing the topic on You Tube with many others describing the NDE of going to hell. There’s so many descriptions that of it that are common among those who experienced it. Thank Jesus for His salvation to stay away from that awful destiny. Scared me to the core reading all of this.

This Bible quote is the Gospel for today, as it outlines the full cross work that Christ died, was buried, and rose again.

Allah is one of Satan’s devils which are under his command, not Satan himself, but since Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light, it also may be assumed that is what appeared to Mohammed.

Read about Satan in the Hebrew Scriptures.You will see he is not who you think he is. Satan does what G-d tells him to do. He has no ability to do anything outside G-d’s command. Monotheism does not allow for anyone to have G-d’s power and authority.

And the Eternal said unto (the) Satan,hast thou considered my servant Job,that there is none like him in the earth,a perfect and upright man,one that feareth G-d,and escheweth evil? and that holdeth fast his integrity,although thou (The) Satan movedst me (G-d)against him,to destroy him without cause. And Satan answered the Eternal,and said,Skin for skin,yea,all that a man hath he will give for his life.But put forth thine hand (G-d’s Hand)now,and touch his bone and his flesh,and he will curse thee to thy face.And the eternal said unto Satan,Behold,he is in thine hand,but save his life. [Job 2:3-6]

It is clear that Satan must get G-d’s permission to carry out any type of act. The only reason Satan was able to test Job’s virtue is because G-d gave him permission to,with explicit directions as to what he may and may not do.

Fire and brimstone. Jesus did mention Gesthemane, the burning, sticking garbage dump in Jerusalem. He might have been speaking to Jews about what they knew.

Some of the latest Jesuit thinking, which is allowed, (You know those Jesuits.) is that hell is the total and absolute absence of God. Hell would be a soul who would be alone, totally and absolutely alone, for eternity.
For my way of thinking, THAT would be the ultimate SCARY hell.

From my Catholic background I understood that Satan's name was Lucifer, bearer of light. He was created as a great angel, very close to God.
Thus Lucifer's betrayal is the worst, don't you think?

I guess in the days of pre-trib rapturism we could expect to see something like this, though the Bible is fairly quiet on the subject of Satan (47 references, 11 in the book of Job and 7 in the book of Revelation). Although he is described as being involved in some specific temptations, as someone trying to screw over believers, as an accuser, as an enemy, as a roaring lion, as the one who leads the whole world astray, there is nothing that gives details of a vast demonic bureaucracy, its organizational hierarchy, or its plan of action other than what's seen in the apocalyptic imagery in Revelation. Satan and demons are mentioned in scripture but there is almost nothing that could be described as demonology or that details the relation of one to the other.

There are popular images such as the dichotomy* in which Satan rules over Hell in the same way that God rules over Heaven, humans being torn this or that way (you know, the little devil on one shoulder, the angel on the other), or the one where God is the source of all good and Satan is the source of all evil, but those seem more Zoroastrian in concept, AhuraMazda fighting against Ahriman. The general message of the Bible, though, with respect to Satan, sin, and evil, is that man is capable of, and responsible for, sin and evil all on his own (see James's description of the origin of sin and temptation).

I can see how folks could look at the few instances where Satan is mentioned, try to categorize his activity or his personality in each, then create an organizational structure positing how these are manifested and are responsible for all the woes of the world, how many and what kind of cohorts he would need to do it, then describe all the various world conflicts and daily problems in terms of that imagined structure and workforce, and then believe that all that was actually describing something real rather than being a projection of a fantasy developed from limited, fragmentary descriptions.

I think C.S. Lewis had it right in The Screwtape Letters when he said, "There are two equal and opposite errors into which our race can fall about the devils. One is to disbelieve in their existence. The other is to believe, and to feel an excessive and unhealthy interest in them. They themselves are equally pleased by both errors and hail a materialist or a magician with the same delight."

I think the book, Satan and His Plan of Evil, (and others like it) is an example of that latter error.

*People are naturally given to creating dichotomies. An example of this was when my three year old brother had done something he shouldn't have done and my mother said, "Think of how sad that makes Jesus" and he replied, "Yes, but think of how happy it makes the devil." Out of the mouths of babes!

Beware of these kinds of extra-biblical books and stories.

Paul went to heaven and saw many things, none of which he was permitted to talk about (2 Corinthians 12:4).

The Apostle John went to heaven and gave an inerrant report of things and conditions there (Revelation 4:1).

Lazarus was dead 4 days and never said one word about what he experienced during that time (John 11:39).

Ignore all of these unverified experiences. Stick closely to the Bible. "Examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good" (1 Thessalonians 5:21).

Beware of these kinds of extra-biblical books and stories.

So you are the kind of believer that would also advise everyone not to listen to a pastor-teacher sermon...or teaching from the Bible, etc...

Rather, everyone should beware of men/women like you who do attack what other pastor-teachers would teach from the Bible. Your advise would be better applied to the Catholics who utilize far too many extra-biblical books and stories about things that are not Biblical, rather than the teachings of this pastor-teacher who is a Biblicist and only teaches from the Bible alone.

Your warning is without merit...it is simply your opinion above a Bible pastor-teacher. So what qualifications do you possess from God to attack other Bible pastor-teachers?
