Its that time of year again. The media will soon start reviewing the important news stories of the year, Time will soon select its Person of the Year; so we should get busy selecting the Mormon of the Year.
For those who dont remember, T&S selected Mitt Romney as the Mormon of the Year for 2008, Harry Reid for 2009, and Elizabeth Smart for 2010.

Here are my own nominations:

Stephenie Meyer Like or hate her books, she is certainly the face of Mormonism among many people around the world, especially this year, with the success of the Twilight movies in theaters and news articles frequently mentioning her religion. [2,090 results on Google News]

Mormonism is the only religion where when you draw a "timeline" you need to do it in a maze-like diagram form!

Well, Elz...MormonDude has "outed" you as a plaque-acquiring Wesleyan "winner."
I am sorry to inform you but the Flying Inmans will now have to rally together a Task Force to see if this award means you've already received your due reward on earth...and if no further rewards from the Lord are forthcoming...
We pray this is not the case. But that award looks a wee too bit polished for something presented 14.5 years ago.
Our suspicions are that you shine it daily...perhaps even thrice daily...Trinitarian that you are...
We will begin the Flying Inman Inquisition post-haste...and forgive the interrogation "tone-age" about it...but, hey, some of the Inmans have been thru far too many bishop temple recommend "sessions" and just can't help the carry-over "intonement."
(They, too, have always wanted to be in a bishopric role -- however temporary!)

I saw him shoveling the dust off to take a picture just a moment ago!

Wow! Mormonism is the only religion where when you draw a "timeline" you need to do it in a maze-like diagram form!
Actually, it all makes a lot more sense after you hie to Mossiers Tavern in Nauvoo and chug a few of these.

We have over 10,000 volumes. We bought a building to put them in. How on earth could you still have book envy?
