Jerusalem will not see final peace until the Lord’s feet touch down on earth again. I pray for Israel. But, until He returns, that poor city is just going to be the center of the world’s attention. Israel is a tiny country and Jerusalem one of thousands of cities on the globe. But, where is the world’s attention EVERY day?? Israel. Jerusalem.
Very slowly, 6 or 7 pages at a time, I am reading a book “The case for Israel. Sorry, it is not in front of me here so I forget the author. I am astonished at the details of the beginning of their nation. Attacked on all sides on the very day they declared statehood.nationhood.
The stance of resistance was as strong and unyielding in 1948 as it is today. Nothing has changed. Israel is still wanting to make friends and live in peace and the others still want to annihilate them. No peace to be had.
Heavenly Father, there is much we do not understand in our world. Thou art almighty God, nothing is impossible to thee, we praise thee for thy Word, promises, warnings, and for our very lives. We (believers in thee) are salt and light. Help us not to become discouraged at the state of affairs in America and the whole world. We look to thee, to thee do we belong. We trust in thy grace and rest in they promises. Keep our feet on the path we are to walk, forgive our trespasses as we forgive those that trespass against us. We thank thee for thy grace, goodness, mercy, loving kindness, strength, energy and for life. Help us to do thy will on earth. We honor, worship, and rejoice in thee LORD. Holy One, righteous, pure, truth, and just are thee. Eternal everlasting Father. We seek Peace for Israel, Jerusalem, for the persecuted believers, and for the restoration and peace of America. That day is coming in thy will. Alleluia ! Amen, in Jesus name .
