Now, about the next piece on the FR lineup ~ NJ woman charged in penis silicone injection death ~ was this strategically placed for some reason, or is this simple luck of the draw.

This is a pack of lies; partaking of the same spirit as those men in a mob, with blackened faces to hide their identities, rushed the prison where Joseph Smith was falsely imprisoned, murdered him and his brother Hyram, and seriously wounded another.

Keep up the good work of “Truth Telling”, in spite of those that coninue to defend the cult, without thinking on their own and doing the research that you provide for them to make it easier. Brainwashed comes to mind.

Personally, I like my lds uncle’s explanation of the mormon practice of polygamy.
He said and firmly believes “polygamy had to be practiced because so many mormon men had been killed because of their religious beliefs that woman had no ability to marry. So the leaders declared it permissible for men to marry more than one woman, in order that the women would be taken care of”.
Really, he and my lds aunt beleive this.
When he told me I laughed, as I thought he was joking, but he was not.

If a society is to survive, in it individuals must form families and have children at rate higher than 2 per couple.

The polygamists are not suicidal. Our culture? Suicidal so it seems. By fact, not delusional “hopes” and “ideals”. We are no longer forming families, and our “couples” aren’t bearing children.

There’s an old proverb: Put your own house in order first.

G-d judges a whole society too, and not just the individuals.

G-d does not like suicide.

Marriage is ideally one man and one woman. Children are ideally raised in the warm tender and caring embrace of a mother and father, lovingly and faithfully married under one roof.

The roof of our house is blown off, and the walls falling in, and we are outside yelling at the neighbors about what is, in context, trivial.

I bet that Beach Boys song, “Surf City” that has the phrase, “two girls for every boy” was popular with the Mormons back in the 1960s!

Another good site is Utah Lighthouse Ministry. Headed up by Sandra Tanner.
During the white salamander episode in the 1980’s. The Tanners said that the talking white salamander was a fabrication while the LDS church said it was true.

Just forget that they Baptize, celebrate Christmas and Easter etc, they repent their sins, they believe Jesus died on the cross for our sins, they use both the Old & New Testament and are generally peaceful productive people...

Making a habit of declaring someone who believes they are a Christian to not be a “True Christian” isn’t something you want started. First the Mormons, then the Methodists and Catholics - pretty soon whatever version of faith you practice is slandered as not really true Christianity.

I’m sure those folks that knew Jesus Christ 2000 years ago wouldn’t recognize anything about modern day Christianity.

Myself - I won’t be amongst the horde to cast a stone in their direction. You people might want to study your own Bible more thoroughly on the topic of judging and condemning your neighbors.

For those that post these silly polygamy threads, I notice you never post a polygamy thread about Islamic Polygamy, Why is that?

When you post a thread saying Moses was a horrible person for having practiced polygamy then maybe I’ll start paying attention to these disgusting threads.

My theory on these threads is they are posted by DailyKOs Trolls as subterfuge. For the life of me I don’t know why our admins haven’t figured it out.

Merry Christmas.

Well i don,t know, but i think i would become a Mormon if polygamy was enforced, but they can not enforce polygamy because the book of Mormon forbids it, that is why i only believe in the Bible.

While the scriptures do not lean toward polygamy, in many cases it was excepted , even in the early Church it is evident that some of the gentiles who were part of the Christian Church probably had more than one wife.

1 tim ch 3
1
This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.

2
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;

12
Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.

It is very possible or even probable that some of the Christians had more than one wife, other wise why would the above scriptures even have been necessary?

The religious leaders lies about this scripture just like some of the religions lie about appointing some one in position as an elder.

Elders were not appointed, that is just what they were, and because of what they were they were appointed to the office of biship or deacon, the ones who had more than one wife was not qualified.

So we have a bunch of religions bashing each other, each one of them trying to be the mister Clean.

Luke 11
39
And the Lord said unto him, Now do ye Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness

The point is that religion is the only thing wrong with the Moron Church just as with any other Church that make doctrines that do not plainly agree with scripture word for word.

In my view any religion is part of the great whore that is talked about in rev that sits upon many waters,i believe the scripture tells us to come out of this mystery Babylon.
and live by faith and not by religion.
