>>It’s baffling to me how such a large company could have missed the memo about Komen

They didn’t miss the memo. Komen is a shake-down operation. When they come to your business with “an offer you can’t refuse”, you put on the pink and do what they tell you or they rally their army of women (womyn??)to denounce you as being in favor of mothers, wives, and sisters dying of breast cancer. Even Lifeway can’t stand up to millions of unreasonable, over-emotional women. No one dares stand in the way of the Komen Machine.

Even though I have relatives who suffer from breast cancer, and some who have died from it, I never gave money to this organization. I always had a bad feeling about them, like I always had a bad feeling about Sesame Street, even when I was a liberal. I never liked it. Ever. But I could never tell you why, just that it gave me the creeps.

This breast cancer organization always gave me the creeps.

Now I know why.

Equally strong pro-life groups need to communicate that either nominally Christian bookstore chains stop selling anything Komen, or those groups will publically encourage pro-lifers to disclaim and boycott the bookstores.
