I'll get the turkey in a bit ... right now though, just a little pause and reflection ...
my wife, my job and my health.
I am thankful for grandbabies, got one coming this weekend!
Happy Thanksgiving
Very much thankful that my wife and I have good jobs, overall happiness, and a healthy family.
The teaparty
My youngest, who has PTSD (survivor's guilt)from his tour in Iraq, who hasn't been home in more than a year, even missed a family funeral, and his wife will be at our table today along with his 10 nieces & nephews who are especially anxious to see him. His 33rd birthday was yesterday.
My own heart is so full of gratitude for the wonderful family He has blessed me with but especially today that my Hero will be home
To God be the Glory!
Family and friend, without whom I would not be where I am today. And to Jesus for bringing them into my life.
If I was the jealous type I could be jealous. We have 10 grandchildren an 4 of them arrived within 5 months of each other. Those ‘99 babies as I call them are all 12 now, and we haven’t had a baby for nearly six years. I am more grateful than I can express for the ten precious ones I have, but there is something about holding that new one for the first time and whispering into that tiny ear, ‘I love you’!
Congratulations!
So true, so true.
Had soda crackers and chocolate frosting for supper with two of mine on Monday!
Talk radio...
I’ve a wonderful wife, three daughters, four grandkids, a job I love and I live in TX. Life is good!
That would make a good topic for a sermon. Our minister did a pretty good job of it Sunday. So that makes two things I am thankful for.
I asked Bowie what he is thankful for. He said "Boxes."
Family
I’m thankful that 2012 is coming.....
I am thankful to finally have a job in spite of Obama policies. I am thankful to live in the freest country in the world. I am thankful for talk radio for helping to uncover the hypocrisy of our government. I am thankful to all the freepers out there who have taught me so much from the articles to the comments. I am thankful that we are not alone in our quest to take our country back. Most of all I am thankful for my family that loves me through thick and thin and that God still helps me in my times of need
I am thankful that in spite of all they try to do, we can still say “thank God” and “thank you Jesus” in a public forum.
God for giving me such wonderful parents.
Thank you for your service.
I was in during 'Nam ('65-'67) but never went in country ... They put me in Korea.
Time and loving family heals and strengthens.
