...because they trust in the Catholic Church for their salvation. ERGO, if you aren’t Catholic, you can’t be saved. ERGO, you’re not a Christian. Lovely, huh?

It’s pure pagan churchianity. I was just reading on another thread where people in Russia are waiting for like 24 hrs in line in 24 degree temps to see a supposed belt that Mary wore. It amazes me that they still claim it’s not idolatry.

If you trust in Catholicism, you’re Catholic.

If you trust in Lutheranism, you’re Lutheran.

If you trust in Mormonism, you’re Mormon.

If you trust in Christ, you’re a Christian.

I trust and hope for Christ for my salvation and know that the Church is the instrument of that salvation as it has the fullness of Truth.

Jesus founded the Church as his body and apart from his body, which is the Church there is no salvation.

Protestantism is a heresy, ergo it is outside of orthodox Christianity. There’s no difference between 21st century Protestants and 1st and 2nd century Gnostics who the early Christians saw as being outside of Christianity.

If you don't like it, you can either hang about looking in through the windows and complaining or you can form your own club pretending to be the real thing.

Oh wait; the Reformation accomplished both...
