A notoriously 'gay-friendly' parish in San Francisco has invited an openly homosexual Episcopalian cleric to lead an Advent Vespers service.
Most Holy Redeemer parish asked Bishop Otis Charles, a retired Episcopalian prelate, to lead the November 30 service. After serving as the Bishop of Utah from 1971 to 1993, he publicly announced that he is homosexual. Divorced from the mother of his 5 children, he solemnized a same-sex union in 2004.
Vatican Ashteroth-Mary-Goddess caricature of Mary’s personage on the part of the RCC in the service of satanic priorities.
>>Something I know you know a lot about considering your membership in the Church of Satan.
*****..but that church bore NO resemblance to Catholicism.****
Only in the same way that the mustard seed does not resemble the bush which grows from it.
And there is no legitimate basis for them claiming that it meant them retroactively.
That's just them trying to put their claim of being the source of Scripture and spiritual authority beyond any doubt, and considering the history of the RCC, there's no reason to suspect or conclude that they are God's instrument on this earth.
EEEKKKK!!!!petronski !!

The name “Roman Catholic” was a pejorative invented by English Protestants.
It's nothing more than a distinguishing title to note the differences between the Roman rite and other ones. Catholics use it themselves all the time.
You really need to think about when to stop your pummeling.
I was merely making a historical note.
Since that “designation” did not come about until many centuries later and was used by Protestants and not the Church herself, that is of no consequence.
Funny, I recall a post earlier where you confirm the ancient nature of the Catholic Church.
There is no time when “The Church” ended, nor will there be.
I’ll stop my pummeling when the other side decides to stop referring to the Catholic Church as a cult, Catholics as idolatoers and when Quix decides to engage in constructive dialog rather than acting like a jerk with his asinine pictures.
Until then.
sure.....
Discuss the issues all you want, but do not make it personal.
LOL, don’t hold your breath:)
It is their raison d etre.
The Catholic posters have showed the episcopal nature of the early Church time and time again, and that the early Christians referred to themselves as Catholics.
But the other side stubbornly refuses to acknowledge historical fact.
