A notoriously 'gay-friendly' parish in San Francisco has invited an openly homosexual Episcopalian cleric to lead an Advent Vespers service.
Most Holy Redeemer parish asked Bishop Otis Charles, a retired Episcopalian prelate, to lead the November 30 service. After serving as the Bishop of Utah from 1971 to 1993, he publicly announced that he is homosexual. Divorced from the mother of his 5 children, he solemnized a same-sex union in 2004.
Hey, iscool, then you are keeping good company. Everyone mocked Jesus, too.

Iscool nor you exactly are Jesus. A bit arrogant of a statement, don’t you think.
:)
Look up John 8:44. It applies to people like you.
Actually, it's more like we believe that the cross is empty because His death on the cross is FINISHED just as He said, and that Jesus is risen.
We serve a RISEN Christ, not one still hanging there dying, not having completed the work of redemption by rising from the dead.
Actually I’m pro-choice. I choose to follow Christ and God’s Word of truth. It leads where it leads. If it offends Catholics, then so be it.
Same question to you --

How about we look at that whole passage. You see, it starts out telling us who to listen to.
1 Timothy 6:2 And they that have believing masters,
I showed you what scripture says about qualifications to be elder or bishop.
1 Timothy 3:2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
If they are not believers of what scripture says we should withdraw ourselves from them.
1 Timothy 6:3 If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness; 4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings, 5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.
So you are correct to post proof that those leaders in the CC teach otherwise and consent not to wholesome words. So indeed we should withdraw from them and not listen to them.
That’s just your private interpretation.
Don't forget it applies to you too....

The Divinity of Christ contradicts the unity of the Godhead according to the Jews. Nor is it explicit in scripture.
Maybe the Jehovah’s Witnesses have a point, don’t you think?
I had that exact same thought as I looked at the picture. Catholics seem to have not gone beyond. They are still under the law and not grace.
5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and set him on the pinnacle of the temple 6and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written,
"'He will command his angels concerning you,' and "'On their hands they will bear you up, lest you strike your foot against a stone.'"
7Jesus said to him, "Again it is written, 'You shall not put the Lord your God to the test.'"
8 Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory. 9And he said to him, "All these I will give you, if you will fall down and worship me." 10Then Jesus said to him, "Be gone, Satan! For it is written, "'You shall worship the Lord your God and him only shall you serve.'"
11Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and were ministering to him.
And like I said ... it's a tired old argument that neither side benefits from. I don't get involved anymore.
That's just your opinion.

I don’t stand in judgement of other people’s souls. Nor do I run around saying that Protestants are going to hell because that’s God’s call.

What you do does not offend anyone ... at least it shouldn't. What you say about another's faith does.
And with that comment, I'm out. Y'all have fun tearing each other down.
The clear words of scripture are my interpretation? ROFL
No, you can post the text of Scripture just like the rest of us do. I’m not doing your work for you.
